It’s good but very heavy on fps (converting some of those big pngs to dds might help).
I didn’t find it easy to start, had numerous issues with alarms going off, is that amber DC Gen 2 (out?) light a warning, a failure, or a notice that it’s functioning?
All I know is, I wouldn’t want to have to fly this for a living.

Hi Nicola:
Thank you for purchasing!
Optimizations are under way. Lowering the poly count specifically.
Starting is a fun learning curve. Following the checklist exactly will get the job done. Once you do it a few times it will become second nature. 🙂
The generators and inverters will throw a caution light if not running and if turned on at the wrong time will spoil the start.
I would love to fly it for a living but that’s just my obsession with these beautiful machines. 😄
I hope you enjoy it.
Have a great day,
Josh

A fantastic little aircraft to fly, flight model feels great and the cockpit is very well done.
I highly recommend this helicopter to anyone!

An excellent model for Xplane 11! I especially like the pHi and Airwolf livery. I have been looking for a good 222 model for years, and finally found Cowan by accident. I love the cabin and cockpit as well!
I had one small fluke problem, and Josh got back to me within 30 minutes with a suggestion that fixed it. Great support too!

So glad you like it! Your compliments are what keep me going. I can’t wait to release the new update this week. Have fun!

I’ll be honest, I loved Airwolf as a kid growing up, and the Bell 222 has a special place in my heart. The Cowan Sim model of the 222 is an absolute gem, and has good systems depth to add some challenges along the way.
Thank you for bringing this to X-Plane 11, and for the continued updates and little tweaks for improvement. Five stars!

This helicopter really is amazing! It’s for sure one of the best helis for x-plane, and it keeps getting better and better for every update from Cowansim. I can highly recommend this one if you’re into helis! And I love the new FMOD sounds!
Really the only thing I’m missing is the ADF/NDB capabilities, but that might come in a future update.

Hi Peter,
Thank you! It makes me just as happy when I hear from happy customers! You’re exactly right, the ADF is there but the instrument is not. This was a silly mistake I made and I think what needs to be done is modeling a new HSI. The one that is normally seen in the B model has the ADF pointer. Collins HSI. Since panel space is lacking this is the best solution.
Again THANK YOU!
Josh
