Introducing the CowanSim CH-1 v1.0
This isn’t just another helicopter – this is the CowanSim CH-1, built from scratch to stand out and deliver something unforgettable.
Every nut, bolt, line of code, and sound was handcrafted for sim pilots tired of recycled content. No shortcuts. This is 100% CowanSim – made with care, refined by real pilot feedback, and tested until it felt right.
The CH-1 is light, smooth, and easy to fly. It’s stable, responsive, and full of character. It doesn’t just take off – it connects with you. From the moment the engine roars to life, you’ll know this isn’t like anything else. Whether you’re new or experienced, this one just feels right.
This is the kind of helicopter you buy because it was made with passion – not pushed out to check a box. It’s weird, rare, beautifully done, and once you fly it, you won’t want to go back.
Developed entirely within the MSFS SDK, it uses no third-party flight dynamics or external tools. It supports native bindings, a fully mappable throttle, and includes a persistence system that remembers your configuration and settings between flights. The startup procedure is authentic, and the checklist is available both in-cockpit and through the MSFS toolbar.
Creators can get involved with the included Blender paint kit, making it easy to develop custom liveries.
If you appreciate craftsmanship and a truly unique flying experience, this helicopter was made for you.
Buy it. Fly it. You’ll know why it was worth it.
Your hangar won’t be complete without the CH-1.
Thanks for your continued support!
For more detailed guidance, please consult the included manual, which covers hardware bindings and other essential instructions. The manual is located in the package folder, and an online version with checklists is also available for convenience, including for Xbox users:
